Ritual and Religious Experience
Charles Seymour wrote a series of essays exploring the relationship between ritual behaviour and the religious experience. He believed that if ritual was properly performed, and if the participants were in the right state of mind then they would have a profound and moving religious experience. In these articles he explores these ideas. Each part is complimented by a commentary which brings the ideas up to date drawing on relevant theology and esoteric knowledge.
